A hard-up Johnny Utah wannabe falls in with a group of traceurs, those seriously uncool urban loiterers who prefer to leap up and over a car rather than simply stepping around it, and pretty soon the self-important bunch is applying its parkour prowess to increasingly dangerous but profitable "gigs", but the arrangement is uneasy - there is something sinister behind their ringleader's stony-faced Confucianism of the sort that appears on the movie poster: "It's not a crime if they can't catch you."
