David Brent: Life on the Road (2016)

It is probably time for Ricky Gervais' character David Brent, the snivelling former manager of a Slough paper company, to hit the road for good because this rehash is repetitive and feels unnecessary: although Brent has a new office job, it is exactly the same as the old one, with the office full of the same sorts of characters, and we've seen all that before, so for something different, he takes to the road to pursue a highly unlikely rock 'n' roll career that proves not as funny as, say, real-life's 30 Odd Foot of Grunt with Russell Crowe, or Pineapple Dance Studios' Andrew Stone.
