Toni Erdmann (2016)

The word Ines' oafish father, Winifred, throws around alot in this German comedy is "humour" but it is more a laughfree sense of the absurd that he injects into his daughter's bleak corporate life and while the movie is slow, almost three hours long and doesn't quite have the emotional impact it should, it is funny in an absurd way and stays with you much like the moments Winifred aims to create in his and his daughter's life.
