Even jazz ballet magic and escape magic is tolerable when you are only subjected to five minutes of a routine - the variety of magic acts including a final performance per episode by Penn and Teller themselves make this great television, except we miss Jonathan Ross as host and can't quite warm to the schoolyard smut that Series Three host Alyson Hannigan has brought to the proceedings.
NOTE: Hannigan tones down the band camp jokes in later seasons.
