S.T.A.R.S. members Chris, Jill, Rebecca, and Wesker are introduced in this original Resident Evil game, a kind of elaborate and, on hard mode, frustrating Tower of Hanoi puzzle in which gems, medallions, keys, medicinal herbs and other objects are stored in limited inventory slots and transported back and forth across an elaborate zombie- and monster-ridden mansion in order to unlock rooms, gain access to greater weaponry, and ultimately rid the world of the sinister Umbrella Corporation's T-Virus.
